How is image editing different from multi-image fusion?
Image editing focuses on one uploaded source image. Multi-image fusion uses several reference images to combine subjects, backgrounds, products, styles, lighting, or composition.
Do I need design skills to use PhotoPea?
No. Upload your image, describe the change in plain language, choose a model, and generate a result.
Can I download generated images?
Yes. Successful results can be downloaded from the preview area and from your private generation history.

Which AI models does PhotoPea support?
PhotoPea routes image jobs across Seedream, GPT Image, and Nano Banana models so you can choose based on speed, detail, and reference image support.
Why do upload limits change when I switch models?
Each model supports different input counts, file sizes, formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and quality options. The editor adapts to the selected model.
Which image formats can I upload?
PhotoPea supports common web image formats such as JPG, PNG, and WebP when the selected model accepts them.
Can I upload multiple reference images?
Yes. Multi-image fusion models can accept multiple references, and the exact maximum is shown in the upload area for the current model.

How do credits work?
Every generation uses credits based on the selected model and output settings. The generate button shows the required credits before you start.
Do new accounts get free credits?
Yes. New users receive free credits on first login so they can try the editor before buying a plan.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You can still browse the site and history, but you need enough credits to start a new generation. You can choose a plan on the pricing page.
Do subscription credits refresh?
Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance. Active subscription credits refresh according to the billing cycle shown in account settings.
Can I manage billing?
Yes. Logged-in subscribers can open billing management from account settings when a subscription is active.
